One year ago today, President Obama signed the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. This law, passed with overwhelming bipartisan majorities, is helping transform federally funded job training programs across the country to ensure everyone can get the skills and training they need to punch their ticket to the middle class. We’re proud of the work we’ve done in the last year to implement WIOA and we thank everyone who has been involved across the country in helping us build a stronger, modernized workforce system for the 21st century. We’d like to share a short message with everyone as we commemorate this anniversary:
